Nick Benz, Meghan Manor and Tirzah Warren Promoted

We’re proud to announce the promotions of Nick, Meghan and Tirzah. Please help us congratulate them!
 
Chief Banking Officer & President-Winona, Andrew Guzzo shares, “Nick, Meghan and Tirzah are uniquely qualified and have earned the opportunity to have broader leadership influence at Merchants. Their roles will be instrumental as we continue enhancing the customer experience and driving performance results in alignment with our strategic plan.”  
 
Nick Benz, CTP was promoted to Director of Treasury Management and Merchant Services.
  • Joined Merchants in 2021.
  • Has 20 years of treasury management experience.
  • Is a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP).
  • In addition to leading the Treasury Management Sales and Support teams, he now oversees the Bank’s credit/debit card processing tools.
  • Is officed out of Merchants Bank’s Onalaska branch and serves business clients in Caledonia, Eau Claire, La Crescent, Onalaska, Rochester and Spring Grove.
Nick is a graduate of Winona State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Marketing and currently lives in Onalaska with his wife and two children. In his free time, he coaches his children’s baseball team, likes to be outside and enjoys hunting and fishing.  
 
Meghan Manor was promoted to Director of Retail.
  • Joined Merchants in 2014.
  • Previously worked in customer service roles at Merchants and became the Winona Deposit Services Manager in 2021. She added the responsibility of overseeing the Customer Engagement Center in 2024.
  • In her new role, she will oversee all retail operations across all Merchants Bank locations.
Meghan holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Minnesota State University, Mankato. She is on the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement of Winona. She lives in Rollingstone with her husband and son and enjoys bowling golfing and boating.
 
Tirzah Warren was promoted to Director of Teller Administration.
  • Joined Merchants in 1999.
  • Previously worked in numerous teller roles across the Winona market for Merchants. She was promoted to Teller Administrator in 2016 to oversee tellers at all four Winona locations.
  • In her new role, she will provide centralized leadership and support for coordinating all teller functions across the entire organization. 
Tirzah is an active community volunteer in the Winona area. She and her husband have two grown children, two cats and two dogs. One of her favorite activities is hosting a weekly Sunday dinner for her family. She also enjoys gardening and boating on the river.
