Enroll for Consumer Mobile Banking: From an Internet browser, login or contact your local branch to enroll for Merchants Online Banking. Once signed in to your Online Banking account, click "Mobile Banking" to enroll for Merchants Mobile Banking. 

Note: You must be enrolled in Online Banking to enroll in Mobile Banking.

Download the Merchants Bank Mobile App

Download on the app store Free iPhone and iPad mobile banking apps can be found in the App Store or iTunes by searching for "Merchants Bank." Supported on iOS 6 and higher only.

Access Mobile Deposit with the latest version of the Merchants Mobile Banking app.

  1. Select the Account.
    Choose an account from the Deposit To menu.
  2. Enter the Amount.
  3. Snap a Picture / Endorse Your Check.
    Take a clear picture of the check front, then flip it over. Endorse the check “For Deposit Only to Merchants Bank” and then take a picture of the back of the check.
  4. Choose Make Deposit.
  5. Confirmation.
  • $2,500 limit per check.
  • $2,500 mobile deposit limit per day.
  • May deposit up to 10 checks per day.
  • $5,000 mobile deposit limit per month.
  • May deposit up to 20 checks per month.
  • Limits are not independent of each other. For example, if you deposit 10 checks for $100 each in one day, you have reached your per day limit of 10 checks even though you have not reached your total daily mobile deposit limit of $2,500.

Pay bills with the tap of a finger. It’s that easy once your payees are set up in your Merchants Online Banking.

  1. Select Payee.
    Select who you want to pay. To set up a Payee, login to your Merchants Online Banking account.
  2. Select the Account you want the payment to come From.
  3. Enter the payment Amount.
  4. Select the Date you want the payment sent.
  5. Click Schedule Payment.

Enroll for Text Banking: Enroll through Online Banking, then text BAL to 469228 to get started.

Transfer funds between accounts and access account information 24-hours a day by calling (507) 457-3444 or, from outside the Winona area, toll-free (888) 457-3444. Our convenient Telephone Banking service will walk you through the process to self-enroll.

Merchants Mobile Banking is free, however, text or data charges may be imposed by your mobile provider. Check your plan for details. Your carrier may limit access outside the U.S.
