Tayler Swanson Promoted to Commercial Banker in Northfield

We’re proud to announce that Tayler Swanson is now a Commercial Banker in Northfield, MN. 

Tayler shares, “I’m excited to be working so close to where I grew up in Cannon City. I went to school in Faribault, but Northfield was a second home to me. I’m looking forward to the opportunity to work closely with these communities and the businesses that serve them.”

About Tayler:

• Rejoined Merchants in 2022 as a Market Retail Banking Manager and was promoted to Regional Banking Manager in 2024. He was also with the Bank from 2013-2016 as an Electronic Banking Representative.
• Was also previously a Branch Manager for Wings Financial Credit Union and Hometown Credit Union.
• Has experience in lending, banking leadership and retail services management.
• Will serve businesses in Northfield and Faribault with an office at our Northfield-Downtown branch.

Tayler is native to the Northfield area, growing up in Cannon City. He serves as the Vice President for the Elko New Market Chamber Board of Directors and enjoys volunteering for Feed My Starving Children with his teammates at Merchants Bank Equipment Finance. In his free time, he likes to spend time with family and friends and relax at home with his dog, Gilly.
