More than 5 Million Pounds of Food Collected Since 1989

Merchants Bank is proud to celebrate it's 150th year of serving our communities. Locations in Cottage Grove, Hastings, Red Wing, Rochester, Rosemount, St. Charles and Winona are coordinating 10 Days of Giving from December 1-10.  Join us this holiday season in an effort to make sure no one goes without in our communities. Your generosity is appreciated and celebrates the true meaning of the holiday season.

Cottage Grove

Cottage Grove's drive benefits the Friends in Need Food Shelf and Open Cupboard. Monetary, non-perishable food or toiletry donations can be dropped off at the Bank lobby or the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train stop in Cottage Grove (details below). If you can't make it in person, monetary donations can also be mailed directly to the Cottage Grove branch. Checks can be made payable to "10 Days of Giving."

Canadian Pacific Holiday Train

When: Saturday, December 13 | 5:15 - 5:45 p.m.
Where: South of Seiben Bridge, in front of the Youth Service Bureau | West Point Douglas Road

Hastings

Hastings' drive benefits Hastings Family Service. Monetary or non-perishable food donations can be dropped off at the Bank lobby or the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train stop in Hastings (details below). If you can't make it in person, monetary donations can also be mailed directly to the Hastings branch. Checks can be made payable to "10 Days of Giving."

Red Wing

Red Wing's drive benefits the local Red Wing Area Food Shelf. This marks the Red Wing branch's first year participating in the 10 Days of Giving campaign. Monetary, non-perishable food or toiletry donations can be dropped off at the Bank lobby or the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train stop in Red Wing (details below). If you can't make it in person, monetary donations can also be mailed directly to the Red Wing branch. Checks can be made payable to "10 Days of Giving."

Canadian Pacific Holiday Train

When: Friday, December 12 | 7:15 - 7:45 p.m.
Where: Bay Point Park | 1392 Levee Street

Rochester

Rochester's drive benefits the Channel One Regional Food Bank. Monetary donations can be dropped off at the Rochester-Green Meadows or Rochester-Northwest branches. If you can't make it in person, monetary donations can also be:

    • Made online at the Channel One website (starting November 30). Please select "Merchants Bank" under the "Which virtual food drive are you supporting" section.
    • Mailed directly to either Rochester branch. Checks can be made payable to "10 Days of Giving."

$512.03. This provides about 1,792 meals to those in need!

Rosemount

Rosemount's drive benefits 360 Communities Rosemount Resource Center. Monetary, non-perishable food or toiletry donations can be dropped off at the Bank lobby at the Rosemount branch. If you can't make it in person, monetary donations can also be:

    • Made online at the 360 Communities website. Please add a note/comment that says "10 Days of Giving"
    • Mailed directly to the Rosemount branch. Checks can be made payable to "360 Communities Rosemount Resource Center."

St. Charles' drive benefits the Hometown Resource Center. Monetary or non-perishable food donations can be dropped off at the Bank lobby at the St. Charles branch. If you can't make it in person, monetary donations can also be:

    • Mailed directly to the St. Charles branch. Checks can be made payable to "10 Days of Giving"

Winona

Winona’s drive benefits the food shelf at Winona Volunteer Services. To date, over 5 million pounds of food have been collected, with each dollar being counted as two pounds of food. Monetary or non-perishable food donations can be dropped off at the lobbies of Winona - Downtown, Winona - Lakeside or Winona - Goodview branches, participating locations or at an upcoming special event. We'd also like to thank local businesses and organizations for contributing to the 2025 effort. View full list of participating businesses, churches and schools.

Midtown Foods Transaction Round Up

When: December 1-10 | All day
Where: Midtown Foods | 126 East 5th Street

Midtown Foods will be rounding up all transactions to the nearest dollar December 1-10 and donating that amount to the 10 Days of Giving food drive.


Signature Chari-Tea Drink

When: December 1-10 | All day
Where: Unlimited Nutrition | 160 Main Street

Enjoy the signature drink "10 Days of Giving Tea" for $10, with 10% of the proceeds being donated to 10 Days of Giving. Flavor: Cherry-Raspberry Punch. 


Holiday Ice Skating

When: Sunday, November 30 | 2:15 - 3:45 p.m.
Where: Bud King Ice Arena | 670 East Front Street

Families are invited to come enjoy open skate! Skate rentals are $2. Admission to the event is a suggested gift of non-perishable food items or a monetary donation.

 

Beno's Deli 10% Day

When: Monday, December 1 | All day
Where: Beno's Deli | 78 East 4th Street

10% of all sales will be donated to 10 Days of Giving. 

 

Steak Shop Catering Red Trailer Luncheon

When: Tuesday, December 2 | 11:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
Where: Merchants Bank - Downtown Parking Lot

Join us for a taco salad or a pulled pork sandwich meal via the traveling Steak Shop Catering Red Trailer in our Merchants Bank - Downtown Winona parking lot! This event is open to the public. Cash or card accepted. Cost is $10.00 for a meal. Water and pop will also be available for purchase. Non-perishable food items and monetary donations will also be accepted.

 

North Pole Pickleball

When: Tuesday, December 2 | 4:00 - 7:00 p.m.
Where: Winona Bluff Pickleball Club | 1213 Gilmore Avenue 

Grab a friend (of any age) and lace up your indoor tennis shoes for a friendly competition to support 10 Days of Giving. Courts are first-come, first-served. Participants will sign a waiver upon arrival. Bring your own paddle or rent one for $5. Pickleballs will be provided. Admission is the gift of non-perishable food items or a $10 monetary donation.


929 Beer House & Grill 10% Day

When: Wednesday, December 3 | All day

Enjoy a fish dinner for only $15. Get your choice of batter-fried or broiled cod, choice of baked potato or fries, vegetables and dinner roll. Dine in or carry out. Tickets can be purchased before the event at Merchants Bank - Downtown Winona or at the door the night of the event. Please use all prepaid tickets by 6:30 p.m. Non-perishable food items and monetary donations will also be accepted at the dinner.

 

Santa's Workshop (Kids Day)

When: Saturday, December 6 | 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Where: Minnesota Marine Art Museum | 800 Riverview Drive

Children of all ages are invited to come take a photo with Santa, participate in festive coloring and craft activities and cookie decorating. Admission is a gift of non-perishable food items or a monetary donation.

Come dressed in your best ugly sweater and enjoy live music from The Sugarloafers. Enjoy a burger basket for $10, with a portion of the proceeds being donated to 10 Days of Giving. Admission to the live music is a gift of non-perishable food items or a monetary donation.


Touchdowns for 10 Days & 10% Day

Watch Party

Cheer on the Vikings while enjoying food and beverages available for purchase. 2 Brothers Sports Bar and Grill will donate $100 for every Vikings touchdown. Admission to the watch party is a gift of non-perishable food items or a monetary donation.

 

Holiday Concert for the Hungry

When: Sunday, December 7 | 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.
Where: WSU DuFresne Performing Arts Center | 175 West Mark Street

Enjoy the annual holiday concert performed by the WSU Orchestra and the Symphonic Wind Ensemble. Admission to the concert is a gift of non-perishable food items or a monetary donation.


Sliced 10% Day

An Evening of Jazz, Fusion and Funk

When: Wednesday, December 10 | 7:00 - 8:30 p.m.
Where: Academy Theatre at Minnesota Conservatory for the Arts | 1164 West Howard Street

Come experience the incredible talent of the Fusion Protostars at this live music event, featuring the legendary special gust St. Paul Peterson. Presented by Hurry Back Productions. 


Canadian Pacific Holiday Train

When: Friday, December 12 | 3:45 - 4:15 p.m.
Where: Winona Amtrak Station | 65 East Mark Street

Enjoy the sights and entertainment of the Canadian Pacific Railway Lighted Holiday Train. Refreshments will be served by Merchants Bank. Non-perishable food items and monetary donations will be accepted at the event.
