10 Days of Giving

Merchants Bank locations in Cottage Grove, Hastings, Rochester, Rosemount, St. Charles and Winona are coordinating the 10 Days of Giving from December 1-10.  Join us this holiday season in an effort to make sure no one goes hungry in our communities. Your generosity is appreciated and celebrates the true meaning of the holiday season.

Click on a Merchants Bank location below to see how you can get involved and the total results from 2022's 10 Days of Giving drive in each community.

The food drive benefits the Channel One Regional Food Bank. Monetary donations can be dropped off at the Rochester-Green Meadows or Rochester-Northwest branches. If you can't make it in person, monetary donations can also be:

• Made online at the Channel One website. Please select "Merchants Bank" under the "Which virtual food drive are you supporting" section.
• Mailed directly to either Rochester branch. Checks can be made payable to "10 Days of Giving."

The drive benefits 360 Communities Rosemount Resource Center. Monetary donations or donations of food or toiletry items can be dropped off at the Bank lobby. If you can't make it in person, monetary donations can also be:

• Made online at the 360 Communities website. Please add a note/comment that says "10 Days of Giving"
• Mailed directly to the Rosemount branch. Checks can be made payable to "360 Communities Rosemount Resource Center."

Winona’s 35th food drive benefits the food shelf at Winona Volunteer Services. To date, over 4 million pounds of food have been collected, with each dollar being counted as two pounds of food. Monetary donations or non-perishable food items can be dropped off at any Winona Bank lobby, participating locations or at an upcoming special event. We'd also like to thank local businesses and organizations for contributing to the 2023 effort. View full list of participating businesses, churches and schools.

If you can't make it in person, monetary donations can also be:

• Made online via through the Winona Volunteer Services website. Please include "10 Days of Giving" in the notes section.
• Mailed directly to the Winona-Downtown branch. Checks can be made payable to "10 Days of Giving"

Peter’s Biergarten Presents 10 Days of Giving 35th Anniversary Extravaganza
When: Saturday, December 2 | 3:00 - 6:00 p.m.
Where: Peter’s Biergarten | 54 East 3rd Street

A little something for everyone! An afternoon of activities for the kids, including s’mores and photos with Santa, food from Chef’s Table, hot drinks for adults and music. Admission is the gift of non-perishable food items or a monetary donation.

Sammy's Pizza 10% Day
When: Sunday, December 3 | all day

10% of all sales will be donated to the 10 Days of Giving.

Holiday Concert for the Hungry
When: Sunday, December 3 | 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.
Where: WSU DuFresne Performing Arts Center | 175 West Mark Street

Enjoy the annual holiday concert performed by the WSU Orchestra and the Symphonic Wind Ensemble. Admission is the gift of non-perishable food items or a monetary donation.

Beno's Deli 10% Day
When: Tuesday, December 5 | all day
Where: Beno's Deli | 78 East 4th Street

10% of all sales will be donated to the 10 Days of Giving.

Steak Shop Catering Red Trailer Luncheon
When: Thursday, December 7 | 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Where: Merchants Bank - Downtown Parking Lot

Join us for a taco salad or a pulled pork sandwich meal via the traveling Steak Shop Catering Red Trailer in our Downtown Merchants Bank parking lot! This event is open to the public. Cash or card accepted. Cost is $8.00.

Eagles Club 10% Day + Fish Fry Dinner

Fish Fry Dinner

When: Friday, December 8 | 4:30 - 7:00 p.m.
Where: Winona Eagles Club | 210 East 4th Street

10% of all bar sales will be donated to the 10 Days of Giving. Enjoy a fish dinner for only $13. Get your choice of batter-fried or broiled cod, choice of baked potato or fries and dinner roll. Dine in or carry out. Advanced tickets at Merchants Bank-Downtown Winona. Tickets can also be purchased at the door the night of the event. In case of cancellation, the back up date is December 15.

Canadian Pacific Holiday Train
When: Saturday, December 9 | 3:30 p.m. arrival
Where: Winona Amtrak Station | 65 East Mark St

Enjoy the sights and entertainment of the Canadian Pacific Railway Lighted Holiday Train. Refreshments will be served by Merchants Bank. Please bring gifts of non-perishable food items or a monetary donation.
